Dogs, boats, little boys & bull riders!!

Well I haven't blogged in a couple of days because I have been busy around here. My husband's family owns another business in town, Thompson Equipment, and we have been super busy getting ready for the PBR. For those of you that don't know (which I'm sure most of you do) The PBR is the Professional Bull Riders. Thompson Equipment carrys many different kinds of tractors, Kioti, Farmtrac, Zetor and Branson...well Branson is a sponser of the the PBR, and because they are we get to have 6 of the professional bullriders come to our business to sign autographs in the moring. I always get excited because then we get to go to the PBR!!!! I can't wait...also our 3 year anniversary is next Tuesday the 26th, so it is a nice getaway for a little while. So everything has been really busy around here. I did a poster for the business which I will post. I didn't do the pictures though, they are done by the Cowboy Sports Agency. Might I say they do a great job...I loved their stuff. Anyways...I have posted a picture of my father-in-law's new little lab. His name is Chief and he is the last litter that Jewel (Kody's Lab) will have...so he is pretty special. I feel in love with him, and I had to take pictures. I haven't got to play with him much, but I can't wait to go see him again. Also last week my husband got a new boat. He is so excited about it. I act like he is only one excited but I have to say that I am just as excited as he is! I LOVE to fish...love it, love it, love it! I could fish everyday. So for our anniversary he is getting something for his boat...his choice, so I will post more about that later. And finally the little boy :-) His name is Grant and he is my cousins little boy. It is so weird to think that he will be 6 this year. I remember when he was born! He was a preemie and so tiny. I mean really tiny. He was the first baby in the family, so we were all so excited about it. He was also my ring bearer in my wedding...he was 3 then! He still isn't that much bigger, but full of energy. He came to the studio yesterday with my mom and they came to visit and we played and took some photos for his mom. She is in nursing school, so that keeps her busy right now. He loves to come and stay with Kody and I, and since we don't have kids it is an adjustment! But very fun! I guess that is about all that is going on. Of course I will post pictures from the PBR when I get home...I'm so excited!!!! I just can't wait!!

Keri & Benny

Well it is now about 1 in the morning, my husband is sleeping and I am here on my blog...blogging about the wedding that we just did and thinking about how BEAUTIFUL it was!! Keri and Benny are actually friends of ours, but they didn't have to get us to do their wedding...but they did and it was the best time ever! Their wedding was at the Japanese Garden in Ft. Worth, and if you have never been there, you need to go and visit. The scenery is so gorgeous. Back to Benny and Keri though :-) Their wedding was so sweet and perfect for them. The day started out raining and I was praying that it would stop for us to get pictures...and it did!! I understand how she was feeling though. It rained...actually came a MONSOON on our wedding day...but I have heard that it is supposed to be good luck...so that is good for us, and for them. The day did clear off and the wedding was beautiful and we got some great shots of Benny, Keri and Kali (their daughter). I know that Kody and I had a great time, seeing friends and being able to be a part of their wedding!! We love you guys and thank you so very much!!

Kelsie & Eric

Because I seem to all of a sudden love to blog now :-) I wanted to post a portrait from one of my sessions yesterday. I have been so very busy with sessions that it seems like I have been sitting at the computer for days!!! I am loving every minute of it though. Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Kelsie and Eric. Kelsie and Eric will both be Seniors next year! I can't believe it though, because I remember when they were both so small!! We had the best time in the studio and then outside of the studio too! I have some neat places that I like to go to in Canton, so I thought it would be so cute to take some outside also. We avoided the rain (just barely) and got a few GREAT shots!! They are such a cute couple and I enjoyed every minute of the session. Here is a quick shot...ENJOY!! Thanks Kelsie & Eric (and Kelly!) for the best time! We enjoyed it!
