Olivia

This is Olivia. She turned 1 I guess about a week or 2 ago. She is so tiny for her age, and super cute! And she loved the cake!! Thanks guys! I had a blast meeting yall!!

Christmas Sessions

Well things have been busy around here. I am a little tired...and I even got up at 7 this morning. What a day. I think we may go hear my cousin Amanda play tonight, and even get to see Wade Bowen...no on the what my post was about. Christmas has been in full swing since about November 18. That was when we started Christmas sessions. They have been fun meeting so many people. Here are a couple of our favorite images.

Christmas Cards

Here are just a couple of Christmas Cards we have done this year. Things have been crazy to say the least around here. That would be why I haven't posted in December. They seem to be slowing down just a little, which is nice for the time being. I am actually caught up too! It is amazing! :-)

Chris, Kerry & Baby = Three!

This is Chris and Kerry. I worked with Kerry last year and we became instant friends. I love this girl to death and I was so excited when she found out she was pregnant. We both went out separate ways and got different jobs, and she said I will call you when it is time for maternity pictures. It seems like forever when people tell you that, and then you blink and the time is here. Their little girl will be here next month. I really can't believe it.

This is Kylie. She was so cute. She did very good since she had only been to a studio once before :-) Well get ready...your Daddy says you will be coming back alot :-)

Happy Birthday Misty!!

Today is one of my very best friends birthday! She is 25, and we are only 13 days apart :-) I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to her and post a couple pictures from her wedding, which we did in New Mexico!! Can't wait to go back!!

Festival of Lights

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to post a little something about the Festival of Lights that will be going on at the Chamber of Commerce in Canton. We have a tree that will be there and we are so excited about it this year!! I have posted a couple of pictures for a sneak peak...they are when we were still working on it so excuse the background :-) It starts on Friday, November 16th, and will go till December 17th I think. :-) I will have the check the date so don't hold me to that!! ;-)

Grace is 1!

Yes I know, Grace was one about 5 months ago ;-) But I have been busy...and now that I know that my brother-in-law reads this I wanted to post a picture from her 1st birthday. I am going to be getting the rest of them done...it just takes me a while with them. I guess that is part of being family :-)

New Mexico

I was going through old photos today from when we went to New Mexico this year...and I'm pretty sure we are going back next year! But I wanted to leave a post for today of a photo from there...ok well I'm off to do a session! And fyi...we are getting a new website. It should be up and running by November...ok here you go.

Brilee

This cutie is Brilee. She turned 2 on the day she came in for pictures. She was full of energy and super fun! I had a blast doing her photos. I love the composite of her in the tulle. She had so much fun with that, and I think it turned out great! She is sooo cute!

A little pondering never hurt anyone...right?

I was reading a blog by Jed Taufer of Vgallery today and it really hit home. Kody and I have been so blessed. Our business is really taking off. Honestly I felt like it did from the moment we opened the doors, but it seems that I have been swamped lately! Maybe it is Christmas...maybe not...either way, we are so busy! I can't complain and can only Thank God for all he has done in our lives. In Jed's blog he talked about how their business has turned into a BIG business. They are my inspiration, and I think sometimes they feel the pressure because I am not the only one. Either way, he talks about how he was feeling a little pressured, or maybe stressed. He said he remembers one of his Pastors saying to him, "you know all the stuff you have...it isn't yours". I thought, how true is that. God has blessed me with this business, but everything I do is to glorify him. So that is my pondering of today :-) Thank you Jesus for all you have done. :-) And if you are waiting on proofs...don't worry...I really am working on them! :-)

Ella turns 1!

This is one of my best friends little girl. Her name is Ella and I adore her! Her birthday was in October, and we did these a while back. I haven't even got to mess with them to fix them up or anything. There is one picture though, where she is wearing a denim dress. My friend Hollie (Mauree's Mom) makes those, and other cool stuff for babies. If you are looking for really cute stuff come by and check it out!

This is Mauree. She was a fairy for Halloween, so she came in to get some portraits done :-) She is beautiful! If you have been reading my blog for a while, she is Finley's cousin...so as you can tell beautiful babies run in the family!!

Kallie

Well, I have been awful at updating this! I am going to be better in November though. Things have been crazy around here, and I think they are only going to continue to be that way. (Which is a good thing) :-) But it makes for not time for the blog...so I'm going to post away today to get caught up :-) This is Kallie. She was a week old when she came to me. Beautiful baby!

UPDATING!!

Well after months and months of me saying that we are going to be updating our prices we finally are. In about an hour (after the Cowboys game) Kody and I are going to the shop to update prices and learn a little more about the new program that I got in a while back...to help with everything at the shop. I am super excited about this. We are also going to be getting a new website...that is in the works so keep checking back ;-) YAY for changes around here! God has blessed us so much. I am so Thankful to him everyday for the life he has given me. He has answered my prayers. I have always felt as a young child that if I lived for Him, he would always bless me...and that is so true!
On another note, we sold another puppy! And they are going to good homes! Which always makes me happy! My cousin Michelle is coming down from Midland to pick hers up next week. Kody, Sara & I leave for California this coming Thursday! So everyone who gets a Christmas card from us...well you will know where the pictures will be from!! None of us have been to California before and we are super excited! Also some of our good friends that live in California will be in tomorrow. So that is also exciting! Alot of good things going on around here!! I just want to say Thanks to everyone that has ever been to Memories By Brooke...and to those of you that read this blog! We love and Thank God for all of yall!!

Ok...so I have been a bad blogger lately. I have been so busy here at the studio. I promise to be better! Anyways, this is Colby. He is a bullrider and we did his promo shots for him.
